Welcome!
Welcome to the world of “let’s pretend”, one of the special joys of childhood. Many adults become so engrossed in work and everyday responsibilities, they forget about using their innate ability for vivid imagination, or perhaps they do but no one else knows about it. That’s where the need for writers comes in. Writers, on the other hand, put pen to paper or use other current means to share their thoughts and ideas.
Writing is like a theatrical production in which the writer co-creates the world and even the universe. When one opens the cover of a book the curtain opens, the lights go on and the play begins, or as in a movie, the lights go down and the actors appear.
The writer furnishes the characters, the scenery and the storyline but you, the reader are also a co-creator for only you embellish and experience with your own imagination, the intimate details of the characters roles. It’s like the writer bakes the cake, but you, the reader puts the icing on the cake.
Again, welcome to the magical world of “let’s pretend.” Together we will be co-creators and share the wonderful world of fiction where anything is possible.
